In the video [Opening]: Who I look like – (if Rick Moranis were cast as…) – Nov 2020 set, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is created by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the duo morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The two later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
