Bob and Doug McKenzie in Our Story

In the video Our Story, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as an idea to both please and mock non sensical Canadian content rules, the pair transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The brothers became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
