In the video Parenthood – “It Isn’t” – Rick Moranis x Harley Jane Kozak x Ivyann Schwan, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hilarious Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was included on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob is created by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Although created originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content policies, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The pair later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
