In the video Parenthood Official Trailer #1 – Steve Martin Movie (1989), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as an idea to both please and laugh at non sensical Canadian content laws, the characters turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

i would love for this movie to continue to see what happened to the kids but im afraid it would be written by people afraid to offend anyone. i love the grit and grime of it with the portion of feel good feelings. none of that made sense. if u make another parenthood dont ruin the first one please by making an accompanied crap shoot.

Great movie. This movie came out when I was 9 years old. I'm 42 now and I can still relate to Kevin and his special needs. I was also a special ed student who was never taken seriously.
