In the video Party at my house (Take off to the beat) – Ian Robinson, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as a skit to both please and make fun of legal Canadian content laws, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
