In the video Pete Frappier & Dave Thomas Crash 1988 Lee USA Hew Hampshire, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both fulfill and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content legislation, the brothers morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
