In the video Peter’s Donuts, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hilarious Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as fluff to both satisfy and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content rules, the siblings transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The characters soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
