Bob and Doug McKenzie in Pizza Hut [Bob and Doug Mckenzie] (1985)

In the video Pizza Hut [Bob and Doug Mckenzie] (1985), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and make fun of legal Canadian content rules, the brothers transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The two later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
