In the video Pizza Hut Commercial (1989), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a improv which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as fluff to both satisfy and make fun of non sensical Canadian content rules, the characters grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The characters became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Television commercial for Pizza Hut, featuring a couple on a date. I believe that the female is played by Kimmy Robertson, who played Lucy Moran on “Twin Peaks” a year later. (1989)
