Bob and Doug McKenzie in Pizza Hut commercial

In the video Pizza Hut commercial, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as fluff to both please and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content policies, the two grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
