Bob and Doug McKenzie in Pizza hut commercial in Canada

In the video Pizza hut commercial in Canada, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by actor Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh about non sensical Canadian content statutes, the characters became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The two became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
