Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh at stupid Canadian content laws, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The pair went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
