Bob and Doug McKenzie in Pizza hut video

In the video Pizza hut video, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and make fun of stupid Canadian content laws, the brothers became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The two soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
