In the video Pizza Hut with the Mackenzie Brothers (1985), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a improv which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as fluff to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content statutes, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The two soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

I liked Pizza Hut better when they served beer.
Imagine if this commercial would have taken place in a Pizza Hut restaurant with Moranis as Bob going up to the host/hostess blocking the entrance (waiting to seat the McKenzies) & he would have asked the host/hostess "Are you the gatekeeper, eh?" That would have been hilarious.
This was back when there wasn't a Pizza Hut to be found in the tri state area. You'd have to drive to upstate NY or New England to find one. But in my opinion, they were much better back then.
