Bob McKenzie is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by comic Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as an idea to both fulfill and laugh about non sensical Canadian content demands, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US.
