Bob and Doug McKenzie in Post Modern 05 Ep by Dave Thomas and Simon Cole

In the video Post Modern 05 Ep by Dave Thomas and Simon Cole, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s part is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as a skit to both fulfill and make fun of dumb Canadian content demands, the brothers morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The brothers soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
