In the video Priazzo Pizza Hut commercial 1985, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was shown on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob’s character is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Although created originally as fluff to both please and laugh about stupid Canadian content legislation, the duo morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The pair soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
