In the video Public Enemy #2 (1991) Dave Thomas, Mary Gross, Mike Connors, Joan Rivers, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in . Bob’s part is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a joke to both please and mock silly Canadian content rules, the brothers transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The two soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
