Bob McKenzie is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh at dumb Canadian content guidelines, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

  10. This guy was such an incredible singer no matter what group he was with or whether he did it solo. He was fantastic but the one thing? I remember for sure and I believe it's one of the most beautiful songs that he ever did was the song he did with Patty Labelle. Called on my own it was done individually they were not together in the same studio which I find remarkable evidently. He had his part to do and she had her part. They? Did? It? With. How to each other be in there and then somehow they've in? The studio they put it together and it was phenomenal. It is still today. I believe one of the greatest songs. That has ever been written.
