Bob and Doug McKenzie in RE: Laz’s “INNERS for WINNERS” 1000 subs contest

In the video RE: Laz’s “INNERS for WINNERS” 1000 subs contest, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is played by Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as an idea to both fulfill and make fun of dumb Canadian content guidelines, the brothers morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The two later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
