Reaction To Canadian Comedy
Witness the vid “Reaction To Canadian Comedy” among 100’s of other videos showcasing the well known funny characters of Doug and Bob McKenzie.
Bob and Doug McKenzie in Reaction To Canadian Comedy
In the video Reaction To Canadian Comedy, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a improv which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s part is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as a skit to both satisfy and make fun of dumb Canadian content guidelines, the characters turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
Reaction To Canadian Comedy
This is my reaction to Canadian Comedy where various comedians talk about Canada (including their relationship with USA and other things). Some of this was filmed for Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. Canada seems to have a huge amount of great comedians producing awesome comedy. Who is your favourite?

The Johnny Harris Still STanding series is one of the great Canadian shows. Harris has that uniquely Newfoundland type of himor.
John Wing is from Sarnia!
That first comedian was John Wing
I like how you know so much about canada it's funny how you knew about west Edmonton mall I see tou have done your homework
Hey! He forgot Mexico in the continent. Its north america too
Phooey. My Canadian uncle died on d day!
What is everyone talking about. We Canadians have more slingshots and pea shooters per capita than any nation in the world… ehhh!
And worse case scenario, we wait the enemy out and freeze them to death during the winter months.
John Wing is the first comedian
Raisin is indeed french for grape
Ryan Reynolds
"Raisin" is French for grape.
The first comedian is John Wing and one of my personal favorites.
So, your clips were great, but you missed some superb Canadian comedians.
If you want a surrealist, a la Eddie Izzard, you probably want to check out Sean Cullen. Different, but way out there.
If it’s comics who play on cultural differences I recommend Derik Seguin or Derek Edwards.
The four man group The Frantics are manic, silly and great fun and they find a great space between Goons, Pythons, etc.
The British Isles have already stolen Kathryn Ryan, Stewart Francis and Tony Law.
The two most Canadian of Canadian comedians must be Don Herron (especially in his guise as character Charlie Farquharson) and Dave Broadfoot, especially as David J. Broadfoot (the honourable member of parliament for Kicking Horse Pass, a real area in the Rockies with essentially no population) representing the New Apathetic Party.
If you can really get into these Herron and Broadfoot I will be your spouse until you obtain Canadian citizenship
Check out Derek Edwards also.

Wait WHAT!!! Born and raised in Montréal the rest of Canada doesn’t post minimum speed?! How did I not notice that?! Is it true?
Love this!
