BBQ is very much a thing in Canada. Some will often BBQ into the winter when there is snow and ice.
Then he never came to Alberta…we have lots of really cold days with blue sky and sun!
There are so many funny Canadian comedians out there but popular ones in Canada who joke about Canadians and Canada you need to watch Derek Edwards, Ron James, Brent Butt and Simon Majumder.
Toronto to Thunder Bay is beautiful Thunder bay to Winnipeg a little less so
yeh.. they used a colored overlay on the video feed to highlight the puck because sometimes things got moving so fast you couldnt track it.. like how some vidoe editors have a highlight to show mouse movement and clicks
See jj whitehead nova Scotia slang
barbequing is like a national pass time.
Ron James is a comedy Legend in Canada
Jim Carey was spot on….For some reason the people in the U.S. seem to think they need to bring their guns with them. Unfortunately when they get to the Canadian border they cannot figure out they cant bring them into our country. I have been asked how do I protect myself?
Ouch the city that I’ve lived in my whole life is literally in between Toronto and thunder Bay lmao
Love all our comedians❤ I'm quite sure we Canadians take all the jokes about us in stride and yes very proud of our comedians!
There is nothing more gorgeous than a sunny blue sky in Winnipeg in the winter.
I love comedy. Many genres of it. But I do not appreciate so called comedy that uses the Lord's name in vain. I don't even mind fuick, bitch, cunt asshole, but DO NOT SAY the Lord's name in a hateful way !!!! so this one gets a thumbs down
True- there is nothing between Toronto and Thunder Bay, and just flat prairie between Thunder Bay and Winnipeg. I love it! I love the unending expanse of the endless prairie skies, the waving fields of grain, the winds blowing from the mountains to the west…yup, pure land, not a tree in sight…a place where you can watch your dog run away for three days…hee hee hee
Canadians and Americans have an uneasy relationship….one analogy is that Canada is like a mouse sitting next to a sleeping elephant….the mouse knows the elephant is harmless and should it wake up, poses no threat. But the mouse trembles every time the elephant turns in its sleep anyway
The most popular barbeques in the world, the Webber brand are made in Kitchener, Waterloo, Canada, and imported to South Africa and Australia for them to use. The epicentre of barbecuing is in Canada that for sure.
Love love love Kids in the Hall!!!!
RIP Norm.
A Canadian would never say that Lewis Black., because Canada and her people and animals are beautiful.
I think you would enjoy CODCO. A Canadian sketch comedy TV show from the late eighties. Hilarious Newfoundlanders. check out the skit with Amdy Jones as an acting coach and the throat click.
sorry
I will pause as much as words allow, yes Canada is like Australia of even more so. Like a cold, like of the same, but bigger!
Let me see if I can help of an encouraging word. Good!
I think that Canadian humor was greatly influenced by Scottish immigrants, while American humor is dominated by Irish Americans.
Regis & Kathy Lee sitting in New York have worse winters than most of Canada!!!!
Schists Creek is an awesome Canadian Series with Eugene Levy, his son Daniel Levy and Catherine Ohara. If you can stream this have a look.
You gotta watch Derek Edwards.
I grew up in Texas. Moved to Canada 10 yrs ago. WOW, talk about an upgrade!
We miss Norm
We do enjoy our bbq like many other countries. The flavor joke was good. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that really seasons my food when cooking 🙂
Not sure if you have covered them but " The Kids in the Hall" are one of the most Classic of all Canadian Sketch Comedy shows of all time. Highly recommend you check them out.
I dunno who the last guy was but feel if he's Canadian he's from Taranna. How many Torontonians does it take to change a lightbulb? One. He grasps the bulb and the world revolves around him.
This is OLD Jim Carrey. Sooo NOT politically correct today. But comedy is all about the edge. He was, and still is briliant. His aboriginal accent is authentic.
Burr is definitely big up here. If selling out stadiums is big.
Kathleen Madigan has some great Canada bits
Thank for your videos it’s great to see my country thru your eyes, even if I am only a French Canadian lol!
Norm is my favorite comedian of all time, full stop.
IMO there is a certain kind of joke that is uniquely Norm. Its a little too long, a bit meandering, and nothing seems to mean anything or have anything to do with the story. it starts to feel like your crazy uncle telling dumb stories that dont make any seense…. and then the punchline comes and it stiches together all that fucking nonsense he just made you sit through.
Examples of this are Frog joke, Pig joke, Moth joke, and Dog House joke. there are some other classic Norm jokes with this kind of quality to it, but those are the big four IMO. If you did a video reacting to those four it would give you a really good idea of his unique joke writing.
If you love Canadian comedy you HAVE to watch Trailer Park Boys!!!!
