Bob and Doug McKenzie in Remembering the twelve days of Christmas

In the video Remembering the twelve days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is performed by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as fluff to both satisfy and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content rules, the two morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
