Bob and Doug McKenzie in Retro Pizza Hut Commercial – Get A Free Pizza!

In the video Retro Pizza Hut Commercial – Get A Free Pizza!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content demands, the characters transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The pair soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
