Bob and Doug McKenzie in Review Video: Brother Bear (2003)

In the video Review Video: Brother Bear (2003), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it moved to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as filler to both fulfill and mock dumb Canadian content guidelines, the brothers became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The two later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
