In the video Rewind: Rick Moranis talks SCTV, Bob and Doug McKenzie and “The Flintstones”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as a joke to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content legislation, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
