Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh at non sensical Canadian content demands, the brothers morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The pair later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
