In the video RICK MORANIS AND RYAN REYNOLDS, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is created by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as a sketch to both satisfy and make fun of stupid Canadian content guidelines, the pair morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The pair later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
