In the video Rick Moranis and son at Game 1 of 93-94 NHL Playoffs, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh at non sensical Canadian content legislation, the siblings transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The brothers went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
