[Music] what is up guys tiffany here and today i
have a new video for you guys and today
we have
a very unfortunate story revolving
around probably one of my favorite
comedy actors from my generation and
that is
rick moranis who has done roles in
several
of my favorite films from my childhood
like the honey i shrunk the kids movies
and ghostbusters and so many other
classics
the guy is just a class act and you guys
may remember like two or three weeks ago
basically the internet blew up because
back in the 90s he kind of went on
hiatus and took
uh you know some time away from the
entertainment industry to focus on his
family
and he’s been away ever since and the
internet kind of blew up about two or
three weeks ago
because he returned to the spotlight in
this uh
mint mobile ad that he did with ryan
reynolds and everybody was super pumped
about this
and super happy to see him back in the
spotlight
now today we unfortunately have some
kind of sad news revolving around rick
moranis that i have to report to you
guys
and that is from this article here from
the rap
ghostbusters star rick moranis assaulted
in manhattan
attack caught on camera that is right he
was assaulted for
seemingly no reason whatsoever as we’ll
see in the article apparently he was
just going on a casual walk and
some random person just strolled right
up to him and sucker punched the guy
for no reason whatsoever anyway let’s
take a look at the article and it says
brick moranis was assaulted in manhattan
on thursday and the attack was recorded
by surveillance camera moranis was hit
in the head by a stranger on thursday at
7
30 a.m on central park west near 70th
uh street uh the nypd confirmed
check out surveillance camera footage
from nypd crime stoppers below and i
actually have
the tweet here where they show it and
we’re going to take a look at the
surveillance footage here
so let’s go ahead and let’s take a look
at it
okay so there you have the footage there
and initially when this video came out
it wasn’t
known that the person who was attacked
by this individual was
rick moranis but as you can see uh by
the article i read a second ago
we now know that that is the case now
returning back to the article it goes on
to state that
as the footage shows mirandus was simply
minding his business
when the suspect attacked him sending
this 67 year old actor
to the ground mirandas went to the
hospital after the attack and reported
pain in his head
back and hip after his release he
reported the crime
at the precinct he is fine but grateful
for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes
his rep told the hollywood reporter
the search is currently underway for the
suspect who could be seen
walking away and they actually released
an
updated photo of the suspect here on the
nypd
crime stoppers uh website or on their
twitter page rather so
here is a picture of the suspect and if
you know anything about this person or
you would wish to report
any information about this you can do so
to the crime stoppers number
the nypd crime stoppers which is
just to rick 1-800-577-8477 but to
anyone to just blindly walk up to
someone just
minding their own business and sucker
punch them for no
reason whatsoever so i send my best
wishes to rick moranis hopefully you
know he gets well
uh in regards to the situation and
hopefully the police can find
uh more information that leads to the
arrest of this individual because shame
on them
for just walking up to a random person
in this case rick moranis
and just sucker punching him for no
reason but at the end of the day
those are just my opinions what do you
