In the video Rick Moranis Attack: Man Accused Of Punching 67-Year-Old Actor In Custody, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on second city television for the show’s third season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. It was made originally as a joke to both please and laugh at non sensical Canadian content legislation, the two became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The brothers soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
