In the video Rick Moranis // Bob McKenzie Strange Brew Charcoal Portrait, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s character is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a joke to both satisfy and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content demands, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The two enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
Today I’m drawing Rick Moranis who played Bob McKenzie in Strange Brew with charcoal on toned paper. This is part of my series, Eleventy Eight Degrees of Separation.

Love Rick Moranis! Great choice and drawing! I will suggest….Ricks former co-star as welllll as my former co-worker( I worked on a movie with him) Mr. Keanu Reeves who was in Parenthood with Rick….but if you do choose him, you should draw him as Ted "Theodore" Logan from Bill & Ted's orrrrr John Wick. Boom!!

Not looking to win, but when I think Moranis, I think Little Giants…so I second the Ed O'Neill vote!
So many great names have been suggested already, all the Ghostbusters have been named except Dan Aykroyd so I am sticking with him 2 weeks in a row. Did you know Aykroyd is a Big time believer in ghosts with many personal experiences in his childhood home where his Great Grandfather would hold seances. This sparking him to write Ghostbusters, which was a much different original script. OK I will stop boring you now.
