In the video Rick Moranis Bodyguard Audition video, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hilarious Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s part is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as a joke to both satisfy and make fun of silly Canadian content laws, the two turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The two enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
