Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis

In the video Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a joke to both please and laugh at annoying Canadian content policies, the siblings turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
