In the video Rick Moranis @ David Letterman, SCTV, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was included on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s character is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although made originally as a skit to both please and mock dumb Canadian content rules, the siblings transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
