In the video Rick Moranis Feature, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the pair became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The brothers soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
