Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis Filmography

In the video Rick Moranis Filmography, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a skit to both fulfill and mock network Canadian content policies, the siblings transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
