In the video Rick Moranis: From Ghostbuster to Parenthood Icon, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was featured on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and laugh about non sensical Canadian content statutes, the pair morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The two enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
