Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis: From Ghostbuster to Parenthood Icon

In the video Rick Moranis: From Ghostbuster to Parenthood Icon, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s character is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously born originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and make fun of silly Canadian content statutes, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
