In the video Rick Moranis Get Well Soon Video, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. It was made originally as a joke to both please and laugh at network Canadian content statutes, the duo grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The characters enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
A group of Ghostbusters from around the world got together to make this sweet video after hearing of Rick Moranis’ attack in New York City last month.
