In the video Rick Moranis Gets Randomly Physically Assaulted In Public, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh about non sensical Canadian content rules, the brothers turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The pair later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
