Bob McKenzie is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as fluff to both fulfill and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content policies, the brothers became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The brothers went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
