Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis is not home

In the video Rick Moranis is not home, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s character is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as an idea to both satisfy and laugh at stupid Canadian content guidelines, the duo grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
