In the video Rick Moranis, John Goodman, Elizabeth Perkins, Rosie O’Donnell scene in The Flintstones movie HD, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it aired by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both fulfill and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the characters grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
