  1. Poor Moranis, poor kid… this whole format is a disaster, lmao. Looks like Nickelodeon was trying to get a little of the MTV demo by borrowing some of their format but it just doesn't work when your audience is kids age 5-12.

  2. Rick Moranis; A TRUE GENIUS!!!!! So much so; he's ENTERTAINMENT ROYALTY!!!!! Just like his fellow "McKenzie Bro" (Dave "Doug McKenzie") Thomas & HIS REAL-LIFE BRO (IAN THOMAS; SIMPLY THE BEST SINGER/SONGWRITER EVER)!!!!! Ian's my CHILDHOOD IDOL!!!!!

  3. It’s even better to find out that everything Rick and Dave say in their Bob and Doug sketches was improvised. Rick Moranis is a genius at improvising. In the movie Spaceballs, he improvised the scene where Dark Helmet is playing with his dolls, which makes the scene all the more hilarious.

  4. Good question, I have wondered about that myself. I know there are some difference in how they talk, even if it's not easy to hear. From outsiders that is I suppose, I'm European ( Not French 😉

  5. I don't know. I think the Canadian Government did a great job. But, like all government programs, it wasn't on purpose. If they hadn't had that silly rule, the Hosers would never have seen the light of day. It really worked well in the music industry. Americans would have never heard of Anne Murray, Paul Anka, Gordon Lightfoot, The Guess Who, and Justin Bieber. Oh, wait, the rule was gone when Justin Bieber showed up. What does that tell you?

  6. Rick Moranis is a good actor. He left acting to be a full-time father to his 2 kids after his wife passed away from cancer. He hasn't really missed acting but declared he has not retired from it. Now that his kids are grown up and on their own, he's considering returning to acting IF…. a part that he REALLY wants comes his way.

  7. Who was that guy interviewing, WHAT A FUCKING SHITHEAD, DUMB FUCKING MORON. They should NEVER have taken him out of Wendy's.

Rick Moranis is GENIUS, I love Bob and Doug McKenzie. I watched Strange Brew again 2 nights ago. A beauty movie.

  8. I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest, and my observation has been that Canadians and Americans are the same regionally, from a cultural point of view. People from Alberta and B.C. are going to have similar memories and lifestyles to folks from Montana/Idaho/Washington/Oregon, and you can extrapolate that to folks from North Dakota/Minnesota//Saskatchewan/Manitoba; Toronoto//Buffalo/Detroit/Cleveland so on and so forth. The BIG differences are Ice Hockey culture, being nice to each other, population effects (America has 322million people, and Canada has 35million), and climate. If you have read this far, thank you for your time.
