In the video Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a improv which was shown on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it moved to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by comic Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh about legal Canadian content policies, the characters morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
