Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis

In the video Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hilarious Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a improv which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a joke to both satisfy and laugh about legal Canadian content statutes, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
