In the video Rick Moranis – Pu-Pu-Pu (Official Audio), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The bit was made originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and mock stupid Canadian content laws, the two morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
