Bob and Doug McKenzie in Rick Moranis: ¿Qué pasó después de Hollywood?

In the video Rick Moranis: ¿Qué pasó después de Hollywood?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as filler to both please and laugh about legal Canadian content laws, the brothers became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The brothers went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
