In the video Rick Moranis refused, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh about non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The two later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

franchises of the 1980s and even though
he was offered a lot of money to return

because they only offered him a cameo
and he said it would make no sense he
also thinks the new Ghostbusters movies
are too corporate and they wouldn’t
allow improv comedy like he had in Space
Balls he probably right because the new
one failed making only 199 million on a
budget of 100 million he’s making the
